About Me
Lily "Rue" Fishman
I developed a passion for accessibility in college after struggling to access campus life. I began studying critical disability studies with a focus on structural accessibility. In the fall of 2025, I became a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies through the International Association of Accessibility Professionals. My access work in college included founding the Disabled Students Union at my school, completing an ADA compliance audit of bathrooms on my campus, and providing accessibility training to the admissions department staff.
- Bachelor of Arts in Critical Disability Studies with a sub-concentration in Theater
